Occupational Therapy Assistant Program - Faculty

Faculty members of the occupational therapy assistant program provide structured learning and laboratory experiences for students in compliance with ACOTE 2018 and upcoming 2023 Standards. Assistant Professor and OTD Fieldwork Coordinator - FT. Wayne

  • Must have at least 2 years of clinical practice experience as an occupational therapist and hold a doctoral degree awarded by an institution that is accredited by a USDE-recognized institutional accrediting agency
  • Must maintain current or ability to attain an occupational therapy license in Indiana

  • Successful teaching and curriculum development experience in graduate-level institutions, with program development experience strongly preferred

  • Ability to learn and maintain fieldwork-related databases and use multiple dashboards
  • Demonstrates professional writing skills and attention to detail in overseeing legal documents
  • Experience as a clinical Fieldwork Educator, supervising Level I and Level II students preferred.

Adjunct Professor of Computer Science

Huntington University Arizona is seeking an adjunct faculty member to teach CS111 Introduction to Computer Science for spring semester of 2024, a 3-credit course. This Computer Science course aims to introduce essential computer concepts and terminology for effective communication in today's world. Topics covered include historical perspectives, computer architecture, operating systems, networking, societal impacts of computing, and applications like spreadsheets, databases, web development, and programming. Programming topics include input/output, loops, decision structures, arrays, and methods, focusing on good programming practices and problem-solving skills.

ADJUNCT PROFESSOR OF ANIMATION - ARIZONA

The Animation Department at Huntington University Arizona is seeking an adjunct faculty member to teach DM453 Animation Portfolio and Professional Practices for spring semester of 2024, a 3-credit course. This animation course aims to help digital media artists create a well-designed digital portfolio and professional website while providing insights into job searching, professional survival skills, and building connections within the digital media arts community.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS :

  • Master's degree in Animation/Illustration or related discipline.
  • 2+ years of professional experience working as an Animator/related field.

Theatre Arts - Adjunct Faculty

Huntington University is seeking adjunct faculty members for a variety of courses in bachelor’s degree programs in Theatre, Theatre Performance, and Theatre Technology. Successful applicants will have a strong personal faith in Jesus Christ and an understanding of the integration of faith and art. Prior teaching and practical experience in the arts is essential. This position requires teaching during fall or spring terms during daytime hours (no evening courses available). Opportunities may also arise for directing or designing for productions as a guest artist.

Adjunct Instructor - Liberal Arts Chemistry Lab

Huntington University seeks to fill an adjunct teaching position in chemistry for the Fall of 2022, starting August 29. The qualified candidate will be asked to teach two or three sections of CH111L, Lab for Chemistry in Contemporary Society, per semester. Each lab section meets for one 2-hour time block per week. The Occupational Therapy, Doctoral Program located in Fort Wayne, IN has an opening for a Graduate Assistant.

Must be enrolled in our Graduate OTD Program.

Maintain classroom, balcony, and lab space.  Monitoring and stocking supplies, laundry, maintaining classroom/lab furniture and equipment, providing support for lecture/lab set-up and clean up.  Inventory classroom and lab supplies, proctor exams, assist with program events, tutor students as directed by OT Faculty. 

Stipend:  $11.20 per hour with maximum of $1,000 per semester

Under the general direction of the President, the Vice President for Enrollment Management and Marketing (VPEMM) is responsible for the overall supervision of enrollment services, which includes the offices of admission for traditional, graduate and online, financial aid, and marketing.  The VPEMM will provide the necessary leadership to insure the availability of outstanding recruitment, admissions, financial aid, and transfer student services to all prospective students in residential programs.  The VPEMM will also provide leadership for the campus regarding all marketing activities including branding, website, awareness, social media, digital communications, and advertising, etc.  This includes broad oversight as well as a hands-on management style, with a working knowledge of current best practices in student recruitment, marketing, and strategic management of financial aid. Leading change/innovation, strategic planning, and project management are essential skills.

Huntington University seeks part-time bus drivers for a 35 passenger bus.  This position is responsible for transporting students, staff, coaches, and passengers safely to and from their destination in the established times and in all types of weather and road conditions.  Observe legal, safe, and defensive driving practices.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Must have a “clean” driving record
  • Have sufficient physical and mental abilities to operate a school bus/van in a safe manner
  • Must be narcotic drug and alcohol free

  • Must possess a valid commercial driver’s with passenger endorsement
